Los Angeles, CA – M² Squared Academy Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to youth development through basketball, in collaboration with GotChaDigi Inc., has announced an ambitious initiative to establish and support a network of West African Coaches Basketball Associations. The project aims to initially create four distinct associations, leveraging the strong existing relationships the academy has cultivated in Senegal, Nigeria, the Ivory Coast, and the Congo.
The foundational associations will be:

This pivotal move stems from five years of dedicated engagement with West African coaches. Through consistent monthly Coaching Clinic Zooms and annual in-person clinics conducted during visits to these nations, M² Squared Academy has fostered a vibrant community of coaches. The core message conveyed during these interactions has been the power of unity and cohesion. M² Squared Academy firmly believes that by strengthening the bonds and relationships between individual coaches and their respective academy groups, a unified and compelling force for basketball development can be forged across the region.
“We’ve seen incredible passion and potential among the coaches in West Africa over these past five years,” a spokesperson for M² Squared Academy stated. “Our goal is to help formalize the networks we’ve built, creating a stronger collective voice and a supportive infrastructure. A key component of this initiative is developing a comprehensive WEST AFRICAN COACHES BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (WACBA) website. This digital platform is envisioned as a central hub, providing coaches with readily accessible youth-to-college level basketball coaching instruction, up-to-date guidance, and a wealth of informational resources. The website aims to be instrumental in fostering the growth of these newly formed associations, offering a shared space for learning, collaboration, and development.
The overarching ambition is to empower these coaching groups to flourish, thereby significantly enhancing the development pathways for youth basketball players in their respective countries. By equipping coaches with enhanced knowledge, a supportive peer network, and robust resources, M² Squared Academy and GotChaDigi Inc. are confident that more young African players will be able to achieve their aspirations of competing at the highest levels of basketball, both continentally and internationally.
